Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regulat prevventive maintenance (PM) checks on the signalling systems, telecommunications infrastructures, CCTV camaras, traffic prioritysystems (TPS), and automatic vehicle location systems AVLS in line with technical specifications and safety standards.
Assist in setup of new communication and monitoring equipment, ensuring integration with existing systems in the depot and along the light rail routes.
Troubleshoot, identify faults, and make necessary repairs to communication cables signallig devices, CCTV systems, and other associated hardware.
Ensure that communication and signallig systems are functioning optimally to support depoot operations and rail serfices.
Use diagonostic tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot and resolve the issues with communication asnd signaling equipment.
Perform diagnostic on the signaling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, CCTV cameras, traffic priority systems (TPS) and automatic vehicle locate system AVLS to ensure trains are operating safely with proper protection mechanisms in place.
Maintain and repair signaling systems that control train movements within the depot and along all tracks.
Test and coliberate signals to ensure they are accurate and complay with operational standards.
Perform upgrades and ajustments to signaling systems as needed to improve efficiency or comply with new safety standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot landline and mobile communication systems within the deport and a cross the rail network.
Ensure that telecommuncations infrastructure remains operational, including communcation between depot staff, train operators and control centers.
Perform necessary wiring, network setup, and ensure proper connectivity across communication devices.
Ensure that all communication, signalling, CCTV, and TPS systems are compliant with safety standard, regulations and operational procedures.
Adhere to safety policies and procedure when handling elecdtrical systems and working in potentially hazardous environments.
Assistin preapring safety reports and documetation related to communication ssytems and equipment.
maintain accurate logs of work performed, including installation, maintenance, repari and troubleshooting taks.
Keept detailed records of inspections, repairs and updates for all communications and signaling equipments.
Report any system malfunction, safety concern, or needs for sysgtem upgrades to the management team.
Attend on all rrlevant training sessions and workshops
Collaborations: Work closely with other technicians, enmgineers and depot staff to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
